Projects completed in 2000
March 2000 St Theresa's Home for abused Boys in Durban required stationary, clothes as well as x 2 Televisions for two additional homes that they have built for abused children, the TV's were sponsored by SAACF. Game City in Durban sponsored the stationary and clothes were also delivered from various contributions received by members of the public. April - a fun day was arranged for a number of homes where children had a chocolaty mouthful of Easter eggs. The children went to Game Fourways and had an Easter egg hunt, there were jumping castles, candyfloss, doughnuts and lots of games and prizes. June - 101 children and supervisors went to the MTN Gladiators, Homes included Nazareth house, Abraham Kriel, (2 homes) and Smiley, a little boy from Naz who is dying of HIV met his hero… Granite. September - 160 children and supervisors went to the MTN Gladiators, homes included Cotlands, Nazareth House and Child-in-crisis. The children were able to meet a number of the gladiators, which brought sparkles and tears to many of their little eyes. December - we arranged for a "fun day" at Cresta for the Firlands Home for abused Children which consisted of Movies at Ster Kinekor, Lunch (Burgers) at Nando's, Games (Arcade) at Magic Company, Ice Cream, Gift Boxes from Game then Pizza & Coke at Panarotties.
