We believe that raising awareness in the area of child abuse is of prime importance, we have tried to get updated statistics, which have been unavailable to us. Are the abuse statistics rocketing out of proportion? In the year 2001 a total of 43,579 cases of abuse were reported – and only 7,099 cases were convicted. This is a total of 16.29%, leaving 83.71% of these crimes un-convicted in South Africa. The question many people are asking is:
“What are the statistics now?”

We all have a soft spot for children, their innocence and hearing their laughter can sometimes be intoxicating, but for a child to be violated and their innocence stolen from them is something that can never be returned.
By showing a child love, we can only try and heal some of the wounds, but sometimes, something as simple as a warm blanket or a plate of food is something they need more than anything else, but for this, we need your assistance with sponsorship.
